Annetta's work represents a visual and textural record of her assessments of the continuing processes that the natural world offers us.

The shape, structure, texture and colours of foliage from species in Britain and around the world provide an endless resource to study, analyse and interpret using hand-made papers and fabrics which are hand-coloured and texturised.

Today the process of protection and conservation in our world of plant life and natural history relies immeasurably on the presence of human life, despite the often destructive effect that our existence carries with it.

The diversity of the human race, and the spectrum of cultures which identify us are subject matters which provide infinite scope for exploration, and much of her current work stems from research in this field.
