Mary Webster's inspiration comes from landscapes and buildings she likes to layer fabrics to achieve depth of colour then machine and hand stitch to create texture. Mary also makes cushions mixing vivid silks with the soft tweeds from the Western Isles.

In June and November she takes part in the East Neuk Open Studios when local artists open up their studios to the public. As well as exhibiting with Group Twelve she is a member of edge textile Scotland. Mary has also exhibited in various galleries round Scotland.
